Electroacoustic music is also sometimes referred to as EA music, computer music, electronic music (or the German equivalent elektronische Musik), musique concrète (sometimes anglicised to music concrete), acousmatic music, electrosonics etc. Some of these terms refer to particular styles of the genre - see Styles below. I shall use the term EA music here, because it's the shortest!
